| Wood is a beautiful, natural substrate
which can be decorated and protected using paint or more natural finishes
which allow the grain of the wood to show. In this section we will
explore products which allow the grain to show – Woodstains,
Varnishes & Laquers and Waxes & Oils. There are many techniques
for finishing wood, however preparation is a very important step.
Elbow grease is needed as you rub down between applying coats, to
ensure the wood and finish is pristine.
